Psychologist, Co-owner
Amy GurkaPhD
I have been a licensed Clinical Psychologist since 2009. My approach to therapy is based on a person's individual needs. My many work experiences have provided me with a variety of skills, including mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), emotional coping and regulation skills, and behavioral interventions for a wide range and severity of concerns.
I believe that therapy is most effective when it is tailored to the individual. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches and work collaboratively with clients to identify goals and develop strategies that fit their unique circumstances. My goal is to create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and feelings and work toward meaningful change.
